STORIES BEHIND THE STARS (Part 1)

Category Residential Property News

Wakefields Real Estate recently held its prestigious annual awards ceremony to honour the top performers of the 2023/24 year. This event celebrated the remarkable achievements and dedication of its agents across various branches. Among the standout performers was Nisha Singh from Wakefields Chatsworth, who earned the esteemed title of Most Units Sold for the year, and Naz Osman from the Westville branch, who was the runner-up.

Nisha Singh: A Journey of Dedication and Perseverance

Winning the title of "Most Units Sold" is no small feat. It demands an extraordinary level of commitment, meticulous organization, and the expertise to juggle multiple clients simultaneously. This award is a testament to an agent's ability to consistently address the diverse needs of both buyers and sellers, navigating the complexities of each transaction with precision and dedication.

Nisha Singh's journey in real estate began in 2016. As a home executive new to the job market and the real estate industry, she embraced the comprehensive training provided by Wakefields. "The training was excellent and inspiring," Nisha recalls. Meeting other new agents at the training academy helped her build a strong internal network. Within just four months, Nisha made her first sale, which fuelled her motivation to excel. Her determination led her to achieve various accolades, including PGSB, PPC, Diamond Achiever, Branch Agent of the Year, three times and positions in the top 40 and top 20 rankings, culminating in her most units sold award for 2023/24 including Top Agent for Wakefields Chatsworth and amongst the top 20 agents overall for Wakefields.

However, Nisha's path was not without challenges. Adapting to new technology was a significant hurdle, but with the support of her colleagues and children, she gradually mastered it.

The Keys to Success

Nisha Singh's success in this arena is a shining example of what it takes to achieve such an honour. Her approach is defined by her unwavering commitment to honesty and integrity, a philosophy that has earned her numerous referrals from satisfied clients. "I compete against myself and try to better my results each year," she shares, reflecting her relentless drive for self-improvement and excellence.

To consistently perform at this high level, Nisha has honed her skills in managing multiple clients, ensuring each one receives the attention and service they deserve. Her strong organisational skills allow her to stay on top of every detail, from initial consultations to final negotiations, ensuring smooth and successful transactions.

Moreover, Nisha's success is bolstered by a robust internal referral network within the company. Her reputation for reliability and professionalism has made her a trusted partner among her colleagues, leading to a steady stream of internal referrals that contribute significantly to her impressive sales record.

Winning the "Most Units Sold" award requires more than just selling properties; it demands a holistic approach that balances client needs, market knowledge, and personal integrity. Nisha Singh exemplifies this balance, making her a standout performer in the real estate industry.

Naz Osman: A Veteran Agent's Insightful Journey

With 18 years of experience in real estate, Naz Osman has earned numerous awards, including second place in the company, most units sold, runner-up for most units sold, and first place in the Westville branch several times. Selling primarily in the more affordable end of the market, Naz attributes much of her success to her background as a former Detective Captain in the SAPS. "I rely on my instincts and gut feel when meeting new clients," she explains. Her commitment to honesty fosters trust, as clients appreciate transparency over jargon, false hopes, and unrealistic listing prices.

This recent award is a testament to Naz's consistent hard work and dedication to the profession. To anyone with their sights set on having the type of prolific sales record she has had, Naz has the following to say:  "It's about staying organised, being proactive, and always prioritising your clients' needs. The excitement of helping people find their dream homes and the satisfaction of closing deals make every effort worthwhile. Real estate is not just a job; it's a dynamic career where every day brings new opportunities and challenges. Embrace the journey, stay committed, and the rewards will follow." Naz's insights highlight that consistent success in real estate is built on passion, perseverance, and a genuine commitment to client service, making her a standout performer in the industry.

Wakefields Real Estate is proud to celebrate the achievements of agents like Nisha Singh and Naz Osman, whose dedication and hard work set a shining example for others in the industry. Congratulations to all the award recipients for their outstanding accomplishments.
