Making a Difference at Vulingqhondo Pre-School: Wakefields' Donation in Action
At Wakefields Real Estate, we believe in giving back to our community and making a tangible difference in the lives of those around us. Recently, we had the privilege of contributing to Vulingqhondo Pre-School through a donation towards the purchase of TUC educational kits from The Unlimited Child. We are thrilled to share the profound impact this donation has had on the school, its students, and teachers.

The Principal and teaching staff at Vulingqhondo Pre-School have expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the educational resources that have significantly enhanced the quality of education in their classrooms. These kits have not only improved teaching and learning experiences but also contributed to an increase in enrolment numbers this year.

Busie Khumalo, a representative from Vulingqhondo, shared the following feedback:

"We are most grateful for your generous donation of educational toys and games. These wonderful resources have certainly benefited the learners of Vulingqhondo and contributed towards their holistic development. The variety of outdoor equipment such as buckets, spades, and moulds gives them an opportunity to explore and experiment in the sand play area. This area helps to develop their large and small muscles, hand-eye coordination, creativity, and social skills. The children thoroughly enjoy playing with beanbags. These help develop their hand-eye coordination, counting skills, and balancing, and can be used in a variety of ways.

Vulingqhondo's teachers were delighted with the various indoor resources that were received. It helped them create colourful and inviting classrooms, conducive for the little ones to learn in. Playing in the fantasy area is a firm favourite. Children play happily with the dolls, tea sets, pots, and pans, pretending to be mothers and fathers. They also managed to equip their creative area with puzzles and books.

Your contribution to Vulingqhondo gives meaning to the concept of learning through play, and we can clearly identify the ten characteristics of play in these children: active, adventurous, communicative, enjoyable, involved, socially interactive, symbolic, therapeutic, and voluntary."

We are immensely proud to see our donation making such a significant impact on the hearts and minds of many children and teachers at Vulingqhondo Pre-School. Thank you for your continued partnership and support. It is through collective efforts like these that we can make a lasting difference in our community.

Together, we are shaping a brighter future for the next generation.
